FOX Sports Fantasy on MSN fantasy sports software offers a smaller array of fantasy games than our top-ranked products, but the games on FOX do offer a wider selection of variations than CBS: for example you can opt to play Salary Cap Baseball. FOX also offers completely customizable leagues for no charge. Simulation games through WhatIfSports are also a great component of what’s offered here.
Standout features:
Fantasy football, fantasy baseball and fantasy auto racing are all represented with bracket challenges for college basketball’s March Madness tournament. There are also multiple simulation games available through WhatIfSports – this software allows you pit historic and current teams against each other, creating exciting matchups never before possible.
FOX Sports Fantasy Sports software on MSN has a great selection of games.
FOX Fantasy Football allows you create or join a league, all for free. Draft types include online draft, offline draft or automated draft. If you want to join a league, you will be shown a table of available leagues and their respective rules and league scoring system along with a draft date, keeper policy and more.
FOX Sports Fantasy Football Commissioner is for the advanced player who wants to run his or her own league. The commissioner is in charge of running the league for the duration of the season including league setup, team ownerships, schedule coordination, roster transactions and fee assessment (you can opt to associate your league with collecting a league entry fee or trade fee but these fees are in no way enforced or monitored by FOX Sports).
Other fantasy football games include pro, college and bowl pick ‘em games. Quick Challenge and Fantasy LIVE are two games that offer prizes, but most games here do not (unless instigated by a fantasy league commissioner, for example).
Fantasy baseball includes Fantasy Baseball Commissioner, Hot Streak and Salary Cap games.
Fantasy Auto Racing is also completely free. In this game, the season is divided into two 18-week segments. Each fantasy player selects four drivers on the circuit you think will perform the best in each week’s race. The difficulty is upped with a rule that states you can only select the same driver a maximum of four times during the 18-week segment. Points are earned based on qualifying and finishing positions of each of your four selected drivers. During the game segments you can pepper your brain with all the news, stats, track updates and driver information you can stand in an effort to gain that competitive fantasy edge.
